So much i hate my mother,
she continiously torments my soul
by keeping me from the one thing that makes me happy...
Why the ***** is everything up to her,
why do i have to cope with her??
She brings you down whe's she's unhappy,
she ***** you off when you are dreary,
she makes life seem like *****,
she keeps you from what you desire most....
Some many times the thought of murder crossed my mind, maybe some day a blooddripping knife might be find...
So much i hate i have towards her,
only two years left until i can leave her...
Oh such a happy day that would be,
not waiting for an answer to the question you asked and getting a selfish response, in the end i might find, that life
is a *****, and that ***** is her...
i hate her

It would be easy to sit here and tell you that you should respect your mother and she's done a lot for you. But truth be told, I think we all have frustrations with our parents, I don't know what she's done to you, but look deep into her spirit, is she trying to hurt you or trying to protect you? I think in anycase, poetry is a good constructive way to deal with your frustrations, congatulations, it was a powerful bit of writing. |

I can't say I've been exactly where you are, but I've sure had go rounds with both my parents. Years of therapy can attest to that. Hang in there. Keep writing. It is a continuing struggle, but eventually, you may come to a place of acceptance and forgiveness. That doesn't mean your parents will treat you any better, but you will develop the teflon coat you need to live with the fact that they are your parents.
I'm praying for you.

it's nice you write when you're sad. but uhm. the least you can do when you write poetry when you're mad, is make sense. i understand in this, you're mad at your mother, but you never really explain why. so it's as f the poem doesn't have any meaning behind it . |
