There is a place,
Inside my head,
Where I can escape,
From all the dread.
In a mad labyrinth,
With puzzles and spells,
I escape in its mist,
Where my sanctuary dwells.
I cannot be haunted
By my memories,
I don’t want to remember,
Nor to see.
It is my safe place,
Out side of life,
Where I roam free,
Without a knife.
I go there often,
To get away,
One part of me wanting to go,
One wanting to stay.
