What is poetry to you?

What is poetry to you?
Does it have to be happy or have to be sad?
Does it have to be dark, or bright?
Does it have to rhyme or does it not?
Does it tell a story or a special thought?
Does it come from the heart or just a wishful thought?
And what is just a story to you,
Might be wonderful poetry to another.

Good to see you back my dear Kassidi :)
I hope all is well with you. Didn't see your writes alot. Nice write, and yes, what we write, is always in the eye of the beholder as to what the words mean to them.

oo this is a hard one to answer. I dont really have a particular favourite kind of poetry I like to read, but the poems I write tend to be silly scribbles.
A short but very very sweet poem Kas.
Love Penny. |
