Playing it cool is so unfair
This veil of secrecy God Forbid they found out.
My body is starting to take it's wear
What is this relationship all about?
Why can't someone like you be with someone like me?
Please kiss me if they're not around
Why can't they understand this is the way we want to be?
It's so cruel of us to play it proud
I'm aware of what they believe
there's nothing left to prove
But what is so hard for them to concieve?
Our love's forever true
What is it they're afraid of?
A chance they'd never give to ever let me live the life that I am made of
But what am I supposed to do?
You are the one I truly love
It hurts me so bad to deny you
And it hurts me to know
that this time in our lives so soon will be in the past
I think its impossible letting go
Forever our love will last
We spend it pretending and playing to cool
We act as if nothing is bad
I feel so hurt, we are such love fools,
Never knowing what we should have had.
This is about my love and I and how we are forbidden to see each other, just because of our race.

It is sad to see that race is still used to keep people apart in our day and age. I wish these people would wake up and see the light, we are all of the same world, no matter in which part we were born, or what we look like.
All the time there are people that think in this way, the world will never heal.
