Leave My Heart

I see your smile
And it burns me deep inside
I cry at night
When I don't have you by my side
I try to carry on
But always catch myself on praying
And while you're here
I always find myself, I'm staying
Relying on faith
It's not strong enough for me
I'm falling under
Pulled by something, I'm not free

Please leave my heart
Like you left me
Close the door and shut my eyes
So I don't see
Break my hopes
And steal my belief
Let me go
For it will bring relief

I breathe in air
Your love's not around anymore
It's getting cold
And I'm not as happy as before
I'll cry my tears
Untill my pillow's soaking wet
I'll write a poem
Always remember, never forget
I treasure you
But it's not the same
I used to laugh
Now laughter brings me pain
