Smile

Contributed by confused_nutter on Sunday, 22nd February 2004 @ 07:26:30 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Smile, is what 'they' will all say,
Smile as I hurt every night and every day.
This dark beast that lurks within me,
Thrashing, tearing, setting my mind free.
On this holy night, i drive the blade in,
Over my face, stretches the sadistic beasts grin.
Peace surrounds me, overwhelming all thought,
Purplexing lessons, of which i was taught.
'They' were all wrong, misunderstanding my tears,
The ravenous beast, casting out my fears.
Hear the screams, from beyond the door,
Her mind and body, spilled over the floor.
In the dark, 'they' all lie dead,
Insanity grasping, every mere thought fled.
Smile is what they told me, push the beast aside,
Smile? i do. With the beast by my side.

Dawny can't spell, please forgive her lol.
Anyway I loved this poem, you have a very good way of putting words together, deep and dark, I've got my eye out for more of the same from you, well done.

Ali xx
