Perfect World

Contributed by Emmie74 on Sunday, 22nd February 2004 @ 05:39:11 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I wish I could tell you
How much I hate you
How much I love you
How much I can't stand you
Yet stand to be away from you

I need you
But stop being so ******* childish!

I don't know what I want
Need
Or hope to have

I say grow up
Yet I realize
You're too grown up

I say stop being childish and goofy
But I remember
That's why I fell in love with you

I say I hate you
But it hurts me to say those words
Because I love you so deeply
And can't fathom my world without you

Never change...
You are my perfect world

Damn... I relate to this way too much. It's awesome to see you writing again!! I'm starting to think there is no love without hate... well I guess I always knew that but it's like they go hand in hand... it sucks. Forget the fine line, they're one and the same. Part of me doesn't even believe in love anymore.. even though I still love too damn much for my own good. Arg. I'm so confused. You seem confused too. That figures. Guess there are some things that will never change. There's a comforting thought amidst a whole crapload of... well.. non-comfort... lol... shutting up now,

~ Dee

You know, I know how this feels. Especially when things seem so right and so wrong at the same time. The impossibilities of life are stepping stones we all have to face. Keep writing.
