Tired dreams and old pillows
haunt a life i thought only
cinderella could ever enjoy.
Tattered old teddy bears hold so many tears
that remember a time
i held you so close.
Lonely bedsheets scream for your body
to keep them warm and safe.
Faint memories travel all around the bed,
holding a moment that you were there.
My lonely bed and old pillows
wait for you to call on them
just one more time.
