When darkness Falls

A whisper in the shadows,
A secret in my heart,
A glimpse caught in the crowd,
He's waiting in the Dark!
Lingering around the corner,
unknown to all but me!
Lurking in the back,
so no one else may see.
Ice cold breath brushes my neck,
A vicious bitter cry,
I close my eyes to hide away,
but bring it more to Life!
A brief glimpes of my fate, for when the darkness falls,
solitude a gift he will take from me,
with sickening shrieks of laughter,
mingled in his glee.
Bitter cold consumes me inside and out,
my desolate cries frozen in place,
struggling in his poison grip,
But this time my dear, theres no escape!

wow.. i really dont know what to say... i highly enjoyed your poem... i kinda envy you because of how bad i suck... oh by the way thank you for commenting on my "silent girls burden" i appreciated it and the advice... im looking forward to reading much more from you
