They used to say she was a wild creature
She let the leaves stay in her hair.
You couldn't tell anyone you'd like to meet her
She was so different from reality that you wouldn't dare.
They used to say he'd gone insane
His violet eyes always wide with another tale.
They said he was inhuman and inane
But if you'd known him you'd know he was frail.
They used to say that she was witless
With every intention of killing everyone she knew.
Yet if you'd asked her of her dreams and wishes
You'd know abuse to herself was the only damage she would do.
They used to say he would die
Just because it would get him fame.
But the cause of his death was their lie
And it should have been their blame.
The worst truth of all is the truth in these accounts
These people were not generated but completely real.
This is for the people who've suffered in the very same amounts
This is for the people who know how to feel.
