Life sucks but love is worse
A wise friend of mine once said
and I thought about it, pondering
while lying awake in bed
for three years I've been lonley
No one to give a damn
I wandered about blindly
no one bothering to lift a hand
Then one day I saw a light
I thought it was for me
But I was wrong, look around
I'm as lonley as ever, you see
But the reason for my story
the reason i'm still around
my friends will always be there
to keep me on the ground

I second that. Nice flow, great rhyme scheme and smoothly read! Thanks for sharing this with us. Kie |
