All dark inside,
no light reaches the furthest crack,
yet a story lays inside,
waiting for you to uncover it,
Hoping for a ray of light
to give it life.
The wetness is all gone,
the leak has been fixed,
still it creaks and groans
waiting for you.
So hold my hand,
we can do this together,
a new story will be written
of the pipes under the sink.
