you told me you loved me,
like you meant it.
i must have been crazy,
to actually believe it.
I thought you cared for me,
like i cared for you.
i got proved wrong,
when i heard you had someone new.
i opened my heart to you,
you had it in the palm of your hands.
you made me feel used,
like i actually had a chance.
i really loved you,
take it or leave it.
but you left me wondering,
did you really need it?
