it hurts like the rain splatters
a build-up of pitter-patters
it lurks in my brains shadows
im still on the same chapter
i cant shake it with laughter
cuz my dreams will get me after
i used to be the master
but now i dont even matter
im just another memory
is probably forgettin me
god has robbed the best of me
my rep, my strength, my everything
and brought me to the ground
im lyin there face down
my voice wont make a sound
so i take my breath and drown
