"You say there is nothing there,
but is that really true?
I see the way you brush against her,
the way you stare at her, too.
You look at her with fiery eyes,
a flame burning bright as the sun.
I wished you looked at me that way,
but your heart has already been won.
When we first met, things were great.
There was a twinkle in your eye.
But now the spark has taken leave,
stole by the lady in the nigh'.
At night we lay in bed like strangers,
never touching, with an intimate caress.
But my lust for you has never ceased.
But yours has, leading my duress.
It has only been a few short years,
since we first said , "I do."
My hand fit so perectly in yours,
and my body molded into you.
But tonight as I watch you sleep,
I know our time has come and gone.
I'm packing my bag and cherished things,
and be gone before the dawn.
I lay my ring on top of this pillow,
leaving behind what I could never take.
I kissed your cheek before I left,
but you never stirred to wake.
When you find this miles are passed,
and you can get your life on track.
I promise I will always remember you,
and I promise I will never come back."

| very sad and touching but you are right if youlove someone enough it is better to say good bye... which i have done in the past many times with one particular guy and i have said my last good bye to him months ago even though it still hurts he chose another over me |
