Hurting Girl

Contributed by eeka_taquito on Thursday, 19th February 2004 @ 12:12:39 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

sitting alone
in the dark
deceitful people
leave their mark
everyone believes
all their lies
walk right past her
as she cries
she sits in a corner
her body curled
nobody listens
as she screams to the world
"please some one
wont you help me,
hiding from my fears
is not the key!"
still they ignored her
and went on with their day
she wishes with all her heart
that there was a simpler way
shes always been the girl
that everyone ignores
alone in the dark
as the tears just poured
the one thing thats kept her going
all these years
through all the yelling
that nobody hears
is that one day
they'll get what they got coming
and might think twice before ignoring
another hurt girl while humming

I liked this it seemed very private and emotional so I thank u for sharing it. The last line seemed a bit weak but other than that it was amazing. Keep it up!
