How could you say things about me you know are not true?
You’re so arrogant, self-absorbed, and beyond that, you’re cruel.
You have no feelings, no emotion, no pain.
Why torture me? I don’t see what you’ll gain.
You hypnotize your friends, make them replicas of you,
And yet you don’t get it, you’re giving them their cue.
I see through you, you’re hiding something, I know it.
The only problem is that you don’t want to show it.
What are you so afraid of? What have you to fear?
Maybe you fear losing your “friends”, they won’t like you by next year.
One by one, you check off the names of all of those you burn.
When you have no names remaining, will it finally be your turn?
Maturity is more than your height, it’s in the way you act.
I wait for the day you come to find it, I want to see how you react.
Laugh, tease, taunt, joke,…Why not have some fun?
Fear, scars, tears, grief,… Now look what you have done.
I’m sure you think that this is funny, but in a year or so you’ll see,
These chains of misery you built for others, will never set you free.

Thanks for sharing this - it contains many astute observations in general, on uncouth immaturity, as I recall it. Well done. |
