how do we know?

Contributed by shorty on Sunday, 8th September 2002 @ 10:32:49 AM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

im questioning my soul....
not just my soul...
my heart,
my mind,
my body,...
me.
what i feel...is it real?
could it be love
or just hope?
how do we know for sure?
we dont
we just think
and we assume that we know
i wish i knew for sure
so then i could save my self from future heartache
i dont think he would hurt me, intentionally
but "love equals loss"
i dont wanna lose him
i dont think i could deal with that kinda *****
in a way, i believed him when he told me
that he was different
but then again,
thats what they all say
i want to believe him so bad
cuz i "love" him so much
and if anything ever happened to him
i dont know what i'd do
but i cant help but think,
that all this could be a lie.
i always think the worst
i dont mean to, it just happens
i wish i didnt think that way
cuz it could destroy everything i have and want
i just want to be sure if this is real
but i guess no one really knows for sure
but yet, we say it anyways....
how do we know?

Hey Shorty,

I did reply but it's still sat in my outbox for some reason?

I do like your writes, it sounds like you almost know me, but you're in the US so unless you're my cousin then I suppose you couldn't?

And yeah we do all say that, when we shouldn't feel the need to, unfortunately!

Do write again, I'm not ignoring ya;-)

With love
Dean;-)
