Autumn Seas

Autumn Seas

Silent waves of autumn seas gently wash upon the shore,
Creating in their wake a unique tranquil symphony
As groups of flighted seagulls overhead cautiously explore,
The world blending together in nature's still epiphany.

Dark crimson roses randomly line the vacant beach,
Their withered petals dancing lifelessly among the waves
A shared dream once sought, now too far gone to reach,
Rests beneath the sand in loves forgotten shallow graves.

Poised within the dusks of twilight, the breeze comforts my face,
Soothing silent tears of cherished memories and whispered words
I stand within the foundation of what should have been our place,
And dream amidst the silence of a vow never to be heard.

What started out as nature poetry describing the wonders of mother nature took a very interesting turn into the very depth os emotion and lost love and shattered dreams. I like the sense of melancholy and also what i've noticed in ur poems is that you always start at a universal perspective and zoom in to relate that to personal emotions and thoughts. You have a serious talent and a craft.
My fav lines:

As groups of flighted seagulls overhead cautiously explore,
The world blending together in nature's still epiphany.
