I had to let him go

Contributed by afrikawillis on Wednesday, 18th February 2004 @ 02:25:26 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Once I did love someone and our love was true. I felt so happy in his arms and knew what love could do. I looked in to his eyes and said a little prayer. I felt the beat of his heart and wished that I was there. I saw him sitting bye himself with the light real low. I said to him in a whisper Oh god I love you so. Now I feel really hurt because I had to let him go.
I rescued him and helped his life.
All I wanted was to be his wife. No one cared or dared to see.
That if he left how much it would kill me.
But I wanted him to be free, and forever live.
Now he no longer feels the love that I give.
To tell the man of you dreams to leave it really hurts. But to put through years of suffering that is truly worse. We had our ups and downs we went through them together.
He said you told me baby we will be together forever.
I kept myself from crying on the phone. All I managed to say was just to leave me alone. He was so confused and he felt betrayed. But he would have never gotten to see day if I would have stayed. We are finished now I hope everyone is glad.
Happy off my expense happy about me being sad. The pain that fills my heart no one will ever know. The reason why im in pain is because I had to let him go.
