This is What You've Done for me

Contributed by hawaii06 on Tuesday, 17th February 2004 @ 08:26:14 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Dedicated To: Bryan Barton
Written On: February 17, 2004

You were there when I needed you and when I didn’t.
You always listened and you always cared,
Showed me that there’s a happier way to life.
You helped me get through my tunnel of disaster.
Guided me throughout all the tough times I had.
You helped me through my problems, and always made me laugh
Brightened my days and was as true of a friend as you still are.
You’ve been there for me for the past 6 years
You were a true friend and still are.

You showed me a light to a tunnel that I should find,
You opened my eyes to see more.
You brought a whole new meaning to my life.
You taught me many new things…
Even tough you’d probably never realize.
You taught me that I’ll always have someone there for me,
And that I can always cope with my fears and overcome them.

You were there; you understood.
You showed me you cared and that you’d always be there.
It means so much to me.
I never want to lose you.
You are a great person and the greatest thing that has happened to me.
I’m going to miss you…but I’ll still always care.
I love you Bryan...
Good-bye…

Awww....this poem really make my nose sour,(*sniff sniff*) full of emotion and very touching,(*grab a tissue*) I really like this one a lot...Is it always such a shame that good friends have to separate...I hope you two will still keep in contact.....

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
