Angel on Drugs

Contributed by melissa on Tuesday, 17th February 2004 @ 01:54:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Woke up one morning out of the blue
started F*@#ing up on life and ditching from school
You hung with the guys from across the street
you've lost your control, you can never defeat
Angel on drugs
flying high
Angel on drugs
let your brain fry
Angel on drugs
hitting the booze
Angel you're gonna lose.
Losing control, you're out on the street
you'rr wishing and hoping but
the feeling is free.
You're wanting to stop it, no need to hold on.
Stopping it slowly
let bygones be bygones.

its not your job to help until he wants to stop your job is to pray he hits his bottom and when he looks up the only person he sees is our Lord. I will let you in on something though wanting to stop and being able to is two different things and not everyone will make it out of that life still alive. I will pray for your son and you to have strength.

I liked this I've been there a lot of times frying my brain with weed and screwin myself over with alcohol. Good poem although I felt it could've done with more emotion.
