They say the past is gone
to forget it and move on.
We know what has happened
how could we forget the lashings.
We've took the good along with the bad
but look at the fun you had.
Were told it happened along time ago
but haven't you listened don't you know?
The past is what makes us.
The future can break us
Were asked to forget the "lessons" and the beatings
but you forgot,
memories aren't that fleeting.

We all remember our past.. it is pretty painful at times.. but as long as we learn from them to stop future mistakes.. or repeating what we did.. Hope you can get through this bad past.. Great write

but the past is best left there
look to the present find joy in the moments
presented now
