Kau tetap bersungguh-sungguh,
Sungguhpun Sang Bayu
Meniup salji atau hujan melanggarimu.
Walaupun
Duniamu diselubungi kegelapan,
Hujan berterbangan ditemani kegusaran ribut,
Dan pasir di bawah tapak kakimu
Hitam dan liat, lahap menenggelamimu
Dan mukamu dicomoti kekotoran,
Dibelah air mata berbaur dengan darah-
Dan kegetiran tertera pada mukamu
Engkau tetap berjuang!
Engkau enggan menyerah,
Mengingkari kelemahan dirimu, sungguhpun
Keris tumpul patah di tengah-tengah matanya;
Yang dulunya keras dan berkilat
Sekarang telah karat dan rapuh.
Serta batang lembingmu patah,
Kehilangan separuh daripada panjang asalnya.
Engkau tak berganjak langsung
Bara digenggam, menjadi arang,
Alah bisa tegal biasa
Engkau tetap setia
Mempertahankan pendirian,
Gigih berjuang hingga titisan darah yang akhir.
Luka-luka yang dialamimu
Takkanlah menghilangkan nekad,
Daripada hati yang kukuh;-
Lebih kukuh, daripada besi keluli
Sebuah hati yang kukuh dalamnya,
Lasak menempuhi apa jua sahaja.

Nescaya...
Engkau menoleh bersemuka dengan pagi
Menyaksikan betapa berbaloinya keikhlasanmu;
Terserlah di u***** timur sekali indera kayangan...

Why don't you try learning our national language, then, instead of watching re-runs of Zoolander?
