Sometimes I have to look so hard to find the way
Sometimes I don't want another day
Judgement stands in front of me
Judgement that only God can see
You think that you know just what to do
You think that God is you
So far sunk in conndemnation
So far away from your own salvation
Try to save everyone
Try to just save one
Should'nt you think before you speak
Should'nt the Devil not make you weak
What's wrong, are you not learning
What's wrong, is it you I smell burning
Save yourself before it's too late
Save yourself and clean your own slate
Are you incapable of sin
Are you trying to play God even when you won't win
Keep pointing your fingers of accusation
Keep adding fuel to the fires of your own damnation
Spread the news, spread it around
Spread the news, you are the Devil's clown
I won't be in your rotting pain and strife
I'll be living and loving eternal life
-this is not to judge but to let those who do judge us know that we see right through them

I completely agree with you. There are too many who judge before they think.. what a shame... So let us hope in better people.. :-)

I think this is one of the saddest things about modern Christianity. Instead of helping to heal our wounded, we shoot them but it doesn't put them out of their misery, only makes it worse. Nice work.

You made a strong statement with this poem. From the title to the ending it was excellent. Kie |
