I watch,
Closely as you take a long drag,
Of a cigarrette.
I watch,
As it takes another day away from your life.
I've tried to help you,
But you wont listen.
It's taken control of you,
It runs your life now,
It's the puppet master.
I want to run to you,
To smother out the smoke,
To rid you of the future pain,
To hold you, to protect you,
But you wont listen.
So I sit,
And watch you take a drag,
Off of your life,
Until you are dead...

Good write. What you're going through really sucks...one of my friends has started smoking too and she won't listen to me either, and it just kills me to watch her take drag after drag and not care about the consequences. I hope that won't happen to your friend. |
