Good vs. Evil

Contributed by country_mistress on Sunday, 8th September 2002 @ 06:53:33 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

The man looks to the mist
A tear in his eye
“You lie I tell you
She is good and the truth.”

The mist holds her hands out
An embrace she desires
“I’m sorry Sir Knight
My visions do not lie.”

The man turns to his men
Not able to understand
For not long ago
This love emerged.

Her hair of gold
Her lips so soft
The touch of an angle
Is how he describes

Just over the hill
This love so full
The woman he cherishes
Is no longer his own

Turning to the mist
“What do I do?”
She speaks so softly
“You have to be true.”

“Your battle will be won
But someone will fall
For those who are not true
I cannot help.”

This mist leaves him there
With his thoughts in a heap
What can be done?
What lies ahead?

He turns to his men
And takes the lead
Not far from the hill
The screaming is heard.

They run towards the sound
Scared in their minds
The sight to be seen
Is not of this world.

Lying in the field
Dead and injured
A single black stallion
Stands high off the ground.

Studded armor
Brss engraved
Markings of evil
Embed her suit.

Her gaze upon them
She gallops near.
Her sword drawn
And ready to kill

The man watches closely
Could this be her?
My true love is here
But how could this be?

Her stallion stops
Just short of the men
She dismounts the horse
And glares at them.
