Here i throw all cover away,
stand naked here before you.
Maybe so you will be more aware of me.
i give myself and only me.
All my wonder coupled with my danger.
Deny i can't what i have done,
pride in it impossible.
i put it aside as i now offer myself to you.
Your pain my seering guilt,
anguished and plagued with no escape.
To forget a dream come true,
to mend the only way.
You hold the key to my redemption.
A phoenix i went up in flame,
now reborn i am cleansed, ready.
No slave to you or me, but to US.
Here i am bare to you,
all that you see,
i am.

In this piece you captured the selflessness that is so encompassing when you love someone. I love the imagery, especially the reference to the phoenix. You are very talented. |
