Carve my path and the beads of rain
Wash these hands and the water down the drain
I will not stop finding who I am
And the memory that was you is but a stain
Think my thoughts as I knew I could
Dry our eyes just as we knew we should
Time will not stop for just as you ask
And I cannot ask for what I knew you would
Rest our eyes as the wind shall blow
Thinking always of what we guess we know
I could not forget for the life of me
And I shall not walk away for it's not my time to go
Pace our footsteps down the winding path
We looked so cautious, wavering if not to crash
I saw you in the beautiful stare
And your smile wreaked its havoc unto aftermath
Mirrors stand reflecting and happy shall find its way
I will hold more to me than I hold today
Wishing here as always as I thought I could
Your sweet embrace holds significance, of that I'd never wish away
