Connect the Dots

Contributed by Elf on Sunday, 15th February 2004 @ 06:00:13 PM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

Connect the dots
to simply find
An image within
of love divine.

But then there are
times of hate.
to find an image
full of rage.

Connect the dots
to see the past
to see what happened
to see what lasts.

Connect the dots
to find the future
to see what lies,
to see the picture.

Connect the dots
to see past lies.
To see what's right.
To see the wise.

Or don't at all
and live out life.
Not knowing at all
coming troubles and strife.

I know where it came from. It came from deep within you, brought out by God's inspiration. And it is great. Now, look up the definition of in(spirit)ation. Most poems are not by inspiration. I'd rather never write another poem, if not by inspiration. God bless.
