.:*Mirror*:.
The definition of despair
(if you belong to the female species)
.:*Mirror*:.
The confirmation
that you're not the way you should be
.:*Mirror*:. Mirror,
On the wall, says:
'No way are YOU the fairest of them all'
.:*Mirror*:.
Change your pose
To make it better
.:*Mirror*:.
It doesn't help, does it?
Maybe the blade
will solve it?
One way or the other
Wounds
will satisfy you...
...for a while

Very good. One thing - I would change the word "should " to " want to." You are the way you should be and I think you are fine. Intelligent with a great sense of humor. Thank God for those gifts. |

thank you alec and lionel. you must understand that this poem does not reflect me particularly. i am confident about the way i look and there is nothing i would change. but all the girls around me have this stereotype thing going on about what they think they should be. i used the word 'should' to convey more of a force, the pressure of society taking over the girls' real opinions. |

Sad, but truthfully written.
Expounded with grace and precision.
Fine work. |
