A girl is at a crossroad within herself.
Her heart has recognized someone, but is afraid to speak up.
Unable to mutter a single word for fear of rejection.
But, still...
There's a tiny, lingering feeling of hope.
It's small, but it's there.
Buried beneath the fear.
Flickering like a candle flame in a gentle breeze.
She believes that she'll never have the nerve to tell him.
But, isn't that what love does?
Makes you believe anything, even a lie?
She then wonders...is it love?
Slowly, she sits up.
With one hand, she picks up her phone.
Seconds later, a voice answers.
"Hello"
