I look into my soul at night

I don't like what I see

A heart once so loving and so bright

Darkened by others jealousy

Evil tortured, spiteful souls

Care to wreck my life

Turning the blade deep in my heart

Till my soul can feel the knife

Yet I do not drown

I cannot yield

I still come back for more

I'll swim through the sea of empathy

Till I reach the shore

I gave you all a final chance

To leave and go away

So now I'll do things by my book

I'll live another day
