Bloody Valentine

Alone in the dark
Watch the fear fall from your heart
Tender ears listening
Every breath you take kills me

Trapped in this silence
I didn’t quite hear what you said
My open arms in honesty
Wait for your forgiveness

A light creeps through the door
You are not alone as thought
Wake myself to reality
Daylight is here

~

You lay unnoticed
Oblivious to this world
You don’t even know I am here
You will never know

Lying by your side
I watch you as you rest
A peaceful smile appears on your face
It’s just us on this night

If you’d just kept quiet
Done what I said
None of this would have happened
But you knew the consequences

Thirty minutes have passed
Since I wounded your heart
But you don’t seem to see
You were the one who wounded me

The knife lies beside me
Blood red from your love
Yet your love was not for me
If only you’d done what I said

You wouldn’t be lying here dead now
You would have been happy with me
I would have loved and cared for you more
But you didn’t want to know

But now you are at rest
And these worries wont trouble me no more
You see if I can’t have you
Neither can she

You look so happy now
I tried to make it quick
I’m sorry if it caused pain
But sometimes love hurts

Now you know of my heartbreak
I only wanted the best for you
Now you lie in a puddle of sin
But don’t worry ill be here till morning

thats a great poem!!! terrible but great too. we all love somebody hun....hopefully they love us back...but thats not always the way...im sure a lot of people feel like this..great write! luv phil xxx
