If red can be brown
and a verb can be a noun
then why can't you come around
if a vibe is a sound
and lightning comes from the ground
then why are you nowhere to be found
if a village can be a town
and if the sad man is the clown
then why the hell am I down
if maroon is a color
and your dad can be your mother
then why can't I find another
If cars can hover
or if you have a twin brother
then how could you be undercover
how could the one that hides the most
be my lover

Wow this one was a really unique write. I loved the rhyme scheme and the overall feel of the poem. Excellent! Kie |

with Kie on this - delightful write - although the only gripe (and again, my pedantry shines through, luminously) - can your dad really be your mother?? lol. I'm perplexed . . . |
