Watching you, I am sent into a rage.
The way you walk, the light your hair shines,
the delicate smile that hides outrageous teeth,
always a flirty grin.
Watching you, pondering the fullness of your lashes,
I ache to eat the darkness there.
My fingers tap, tap, tap, on the table, wanting
to brush the gentle curls out of your eyes,
To stroke the slashes of ebony your eyebrows are.
A thousand works on your eyebrows alone,
would never tame the lioness who prowls my heart,
longing to devour you, to consume you whole
like a wild fruit taken savagely from the vine.
Listening to you is like being in the eye of a storm.
Each exhalation of breath, each harsh word spoken,
a tornado, touching down on some barren field.
Watching you, I am filled with the desire to possess you.
I wonder what it would be like to share a body, a mind, a
soul.
What a wonderous joy for your hands to be my hands!
Reaching to scratch my brow, I scratch yours.
My hand to my heart would feel yours beat.
Gazing into the mirror, I would see your tempest in my eyes.
Cut, your blood would flow deliciously red from my veins.
I could taste your world, feel your pulse in my neck,
kissing would take on a whole new meaning.
Watching you, I am see myself, whole and beautiful!
Together we are a powerful storm, demolishing all the
barriers the natural world holds dear.
Watching you, I see myself, grand and aflame.

This poem is well done and I love the idea it brings up. Becoming one with a person or seeing yourself in a person. You portrayed that, quite well. This is definitely a five-star poem in my eyes...
