Missed the train again

Contributed by Cobalt on Sunday, 15th February 2004 @ 01:34:26 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Magic wands broken
and I can't find
my way back to good.
I've been dreaming
of faraway places.
I'm all alone and
I can't seem to cry.
Please someone
come hold me and
get me out of here.
Won't someone please
help me as I watch
my paradise burn down.
God and my love died.
Nothing to save me and
not even hope to hold onto.
Tears streaming over my soul
no reprieve as I watch it
burn over and over again.
Fall to my knees as I
begin to scream.
Somebody help,
somebody hold me.
Lie to me if you must
just tell me everything
will be alright.
The knife won't comfort me.
This beer won't hold me.
This gun won't console me.
This song won't love me.
This book won't save me.
Please somebody come hold me.
Help me make it through the night.
Just tell me it'll be alright.

Raven's Sin

Oh gosh, this one made me cry. I just don't know what to say, except to tell you that this is my favorite poem by you now. This one hit me hard. So very sad. Kie

Wow again... you're gonna bring me to tears if you keep this up! I relate so much to the emotions in this... part of it even reminds me of something I wrote awhile ago. It's almost too bad we couldn't comfort each other, I think we could both use it... lol... oh well, I hope you find someone to hold you... and I hope nothing she tells you is ever a lie. Otherwise, I'll have to come down there and kick some skanky ***** ass! hehe
