Please don’t walk away from me
please don’t turn me down.
I want to spend my life with you
I want to see you in that gown.
We’ll marry on a winters day
soft snow upon the ground.
Inside our tune will be playing
and there’ll be roses all around.
There’ll be an awe of silence
as your beauty fills the room.
Everyone will be smiling,
especially the groom!
You’ll glide along that aisle,
your father will lead the way.
He’d proudly walk alongside you
to give his princess away.
At the end awaits our destiny,
our love entwined forever
and from that moment on,
we’ll share our lives together.
You can’t deny it any longer,
what we have is just so right.
Please say you’ll be my princess
Say yes to me tonight!

Life writes the most interesting stories.
I can't help but wonder about the "Winter's day" -- winter has the shortest of all days in the year. I'm expecting hidden meaning. Maybe I read into it, but that is the point, too, I suppose.
Such a potentially happy end if it be realised, serve it's life purpose. |
