In One Blow

Contributed by MnMnMsrcool on Saturday, 7th September 2002 @ 01:30:26 PM in AEST
Topic: AmericanTragedy

They have gone from here
But not from our hearts
They have taken them away
They took there lives with a single blow,
That airplane came crashing down,
Then the other,
They took a lot more than the twin towers,
They took families,
Mothers and fathers,
Aunts and Uncles,
Friends and neighbors,
They took there lives, there hearts.
In one single blow,
They took away Mothers and Fathers,
They took away family.
They took them away,
But they will be forever in our hearts,
In our minds in our bodies,
We could never for get the courageous acts,
Of all of the firemen and women.
They took them away,
All of them,
Those people that took your lives away,
Did what they did as a faceless coward,
They took many lives away.
In one blow,
They were all gone.

A great read on my behalf, and a great write on yours. As the one year anniversary is on its way, I hope that we all can look back, and form a great aliance again.

Poetic Dreams Always,
Jazz

This is good. Everyone will remember the lost lives and how much others have done to try and save these people. Kimmie_mac
