The Night

I held your body close last night

Two hearts beat as one

An overwhelming feeling of belonging

As the moon is to the sun

I lose myself in memories

A paradise created by one mind

Love like this should remain untouched

Many secrets yet to find

Despite all the existing obstacles

That we both overcame

Our love remains untouched in time

Will we ever be the same?

We haunt each others dreams this night

Walking hand in hand

Nobody can experience what we have

Only us two understand

When I wake the dream lives on

Carries me through the day

Until I'm back in your arms at night

Where forever I will stay
