When it gets to be too much
And I almost break down and cry
When the teasing and taunting and such
Makes me want to die
I go to my little paradise
On Serenity Drive
Some people call it their happy place
Some others call it dreams
Some people’s are in outer space
Mine is different, it seems
I love to go away
To my house on Serenity Drive
I’m the only one on the street
But surely I don’t live alone
There my true friends I meet
In palaces of smooth stone
All my friends are welcome
There on Serenity Drive
But now I’ve got to go
I need to get back in touch
My connection to reality’s running low
The urge to leave is too much
Very soon I’ll return
To my paradise on Serenity Drive

Don't let life get to you...we all need a happy place. Mine is a huggy bear named markie...or my bath tub and romantic tunes by Rod Stewart...taunting is for cowards...your poetry is really good, btw. |
