Topic: Grief

Blinded by emotions,
Trapped in all my false notions,
I'm tired of all the games you play
And all the awful things you say,
I never thought it'd come to this,
But all you've brought is emptiness,
Suppressing me, but not for long,
Cuz now I'm here to right your wrong
You pull the wool over my eyes,
So I'm deceived by your disguise,
But now that's gone and I can see
You've only been here to torment me.
You lie to keep the truth inside,
But know that pain can never hide.
I see your true self start to show,
And looking deeper now I know
It's me that lies inside of you.
