There are some people we will never forget
No matter how hard we try we cannot
Shoo them from our memories
I don't want to forget her
She taught me so much about who I am
We sat in her garden
Drinking coke from the can
And eating unhealthy cream cakes
Talking of everything
It was an unusual friendship from the start
People laughed; 15 and 54
I didn't see the funny side
There were shopping trips to Nottingham
Taking the mick out of Lakeland Plastics
And days when she was simply just there
Those days are not over yet

True friendship does not care about age. It is being able to share yourself, understanding, and trust. Its good you had at least one true friend you will never forget. |
