Shadows and Memories
Tonight by the fire
As shadows play upon the wall
I bask in your love
The memories I recall
The rerun of emotions
The moments of our past
Preserved in my heart
Forever to last
The first “I love you”
Falling as honey from your lips
The thrill and desire
Of trembling fingertips
Eyes so alive with love
They ignite my desire anew
Yes my darling
Such are my memories of you
And later tonight by the fire
As firelight dances upon our skin
We’ll frolic in loves embrace
As new memories begin
