1994
On Valentines Day 1994,
I asked you to marry me.
At a little cozy restaurant,
Your favorite I believe.
Over shrimp and pasta,
I asked you to be my wife.
From the expression on your face,
I knew the answer would be yes.
Six months later,
I watched as your father walked you down the aisle.
In the most beautiful white dress.
You were a sight to be seen.
Staring deeply into each others eyes,
We pledged our love and devotion.
Our promise to love and cherish,
Through the good and the bad times.
This Valentines Day,
Marks the ten-year anniversary of that date.
The night our whole world would changed,
A commitment that still holds strong today.
