A Star

I think of you all of the time
Since you went away.
I can't get you out of my mind
I think of you every day.
I know you're in a better place
Shinning like a star from up above.
Now all I can do is pray
And send my family all of my love.
Out of all of my friends
You were always down.
Life is so much harder now
Without you around!
So hear what I'm about to say
I'll scream it to the sky.....
You'll always be a part of me
Until the day I die!

| I can't tell you that I know how you feel, but my mom does. She lost a brother. I was too young to remember him. This is how she describes how she feels to me. (not in a poem of course) This is a beautiful poem, I love it! |
