A journey through time
I end up in pitch darkness
Never knowing which way to go
I turn the wrong way
I always end up in a fight
I'm just putting on a big show
Thats what the elders say
When I step across the yellow line
Stepping across the yellow line
Everyone stops and stares
I'm in another dimension and no one cares
For who would care for a soul so dark
My lungs are hollow
My heart is black
My cry is like a knife that stabs you in the back
My tears are icy cold
This thing I have
A head is what you call it
It tells me to do good
But I can never listen
This cruel mundane world won't let us do good
It keep calling to me
Guess what
I hear its every word

I can see Lionel is a fan of yours. This is a sweet poetic piece... you have a way with words.. I love it. Please hit my song-lyrics and make comments as well as vote the poems..ours... I respect him alot.
