When will be my last breath
And when will I be consumed by death
When will it be someone else’s turn to cry
When will I understand
When will the sands of time stop
And how many more times will I watch that ball drop
When will we stop counting the years
When will I stop leaving in fear
When will I shed my last tear
When will we finely take a better look in the mirror
I’ve become older
A little bolder
And time has passed me by
The ones I love
And all I trust
Could never be my serenity
I’ve become empty
That’s it simply
And I wish I was whole

Interesting. I loved the last line the most - such a simple request yet written with so much depth. That's alwys the way with words, isn't it? Well done. |
