White Roses

Contributed by PoeticRequiem on Thursday, 12th February 2004 @ 02:25:51 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Bitterness eclipses me
like purebred insecurties,
the presence of you, wanders
from my grave

In this cocoon I sleep
wonder if I'll find peace?
Lying here in casket dreams
smile washes over me

White roses in a bloody vase
I see that look of pain
on your face
Why do you look for help within
my eyes?
Your souls existence is what I
despise

Penance seeks no mercy here
buried alive with all my fears
So please take your pity with you
when you go,
I don't want you here
Covered by forgotten fields
under this soil I am sealed
Even you can't reach me
in this chamber

So now what will you do
now that you have no one to
put through the ***** you put
me through?
Save your tears for someone
who cares,
not me

White roses in a bloody vase
you have fallen from my grace
Pick yourself up and carry on
by my side, no more, be
forever gone

White roses in a bloody vase
I see that look of pain
on your face
Why do you look for help
within my eyes?
Your souls existence is what
I despise

As you turn to leave,
for the last time you say goodbye
to me
I hope this is the last
of you I will ever see,
no more haunting my
thoughts and dreams

White roses in a bloody vase
stay away from my sacred place
The earth is my final home
while my body rests my spirit
will roam
