YES I SHALL I LOVE…………..
Spare me your thoughts
In utter ruin it led me to.
Spare me your voice ,
In sheer bondage it forced me to.
Spare me your very being ,
It led me nowhere.
I defy , I deny ,I decry,
Your presence I acknowledge no more.
Since times immemorial ,
Your spell has loomed large ,
Spared no god ,man was to sure fall.
Clever predator , benumbing all
Ruthless dictator ,to your power succumbed all.
You sucked ,you sapped all the energies out ,
Infallible , fallible all lay under your clout .
Listen thou O Creator ! who rests above ,
Operator not less clever you are too.
You sent us below ; that you could watch in mirth ,
Impudent love playing games till death from birth.
Powers received from the Almighty ,
He spread afflictions to his satiety .
Age he held no bar ; love equals all.
You gave him powers , us you supplanted with a weak heart .
Where do we go defeated with his dart?
Impassive you couldn’t let us be ,
All it led to was ignominy.
I need no love , this I need no more
It weakens me ,they say it is a succour.
I force him out , I shut myself .
“ I will not leave”,he tells me so
“you need to love and shall never be cured”.
Then sure ,I will love if this be so ,
But will love myself ,let this be known.
For ‘me’ will leave when death shall bless ,
Aah! No heartache , no feelings to suppress.
